Sour Cream Strawberry Jello 6 oz Pkg strawberry jello
2 Bananas sliced
8 oz Sour cream
16 oz Crushed pineapple drained
1 pk Frozen strawberries
Mix the jello with 2 cups boiling water. Add the frozen strawberries,
stiring to break them up. When the strawbr. are thawed, add the sliced
bananas and the drained pine- apple. Pour half of the mixture into a
jello mold ( I use the big one from Tuppperware) and refrigerate
until firm. Then, pour sour cream on top and smooth it over. Then add
the remaining mixture on top of the sour cream. Chill several hours
or until firm. To unmold: Dip mold in warm, not hot water, just to
the rim,for about 10 seconds. Lift from water, hold upright and shake
slightly to loosen gelatin. Use a chilled serving plate moistened
with water; this allows gelatin to be moved after unmolding. Place
plate over mold and invert. Shake slightly, then lift off mold
carefully. If gelatin doesn't release easily, dip the mold in warm
water again for a few seconds. Sour Cream Strawberry Jello printer friendly version located here. Click Back to return. |
