Berry Fluff

1 pk Frozen strawberries or red raspberries; defrosted (16 oz. )
Water as needed
1 c Whipping cream; whipped (1/2 pint)
1 pk Strawberry or raspberry flavored gelatin
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla


Drain defrosted berries (save juice). Return berries to refrigerator. Pour fruit juice into measuring cup and add water as needed to make 1 cup liquid. Bring liquid to boiling point. Remove pan from heat; add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Cool just until gelatin jell light and fluffy. Fold in whipped cream and berries. Spoon mixture into serving dishes or chilled thermos bottles with wide mouth; chill. If desired, dessert may be topped with additional whipped whipped cream or berries. Close bottle. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
