Any Berry Jam

3 c Fresh strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries
2/3 c Sugar
2 tb Lemon juice
1/4 c Powdered fruit pectin

: Hull and slice or chop berries if necessary. Into baking pan place berries with sugar, lemon juice, and pectin. Insert pan securely into unti. Close lid. Select "Jam" setting (by pressing "cake" setting twice until it blinks), then press "start". The "complete" light will flash when jam is done. Using hot pads, remove pan from unit. Turn mixture into refrigerator or freezer containers, leaving 1/2 inch head space. Cover tightly to store in refrigerator or freezer (jam thickens on chilling). Makes about 2 cups of jam. This jam must be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
