Boysenberry Pie

10 oz Frozen boysenberries Thawed
1/2 t Fresh lemon juice
1 c Sugar
2 tb Cornstarch
3/4 c Water
2 tb Butter
2 Unbaked pie pastries


Mix water, cornstarch, sugar and lemon juice together until smooth. Gently stir in berries. Pour into a 9" unbaked pastry shell, dot with butter. Cover with pastry strips, trim edges and seal as you flute crust. You may brush top with evaporated milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees FF for 30-35 minutes.
