Blackberry Buckle

1/4 c Margarine
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 c Sugar
1/3 c Milk
1 Egg, well beaten
1 ts Vanilla
1 c All-purpose flour
2 c Blackberries
1 1/2 ts Baking powder

1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Margarine
1/3 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 deg f. In medium mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together; add vanilla to milk. Add liquid and dry ingredients alternately to creamed mixture, beginning and ending withdry ingredients. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9x9 inch pan. Cover with blackberries. In small bowl, combine sugar, margarine, flour, and cinnamon. Sprinkle topping over blackberries. Bake buckle for 40 minutes or until cake test done. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
